Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE:
The Interior Design Manager will be responsible for designing and implementation of the Plans.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review design packages, identify gaps ,problems and propose solutions for clients approval (Chief Operating Officer)
• Supervise the job and come with creative details to improve the design whenever necessary.
• Provide material termination details when it is missing.
• Review the joinery package and approve shop drawings.
• Review of lighting design and lux level with supplier and select appropriate fittings
. • Propose fittings details for light.
• Develop initial ideas and acquire key information about potential projects, discuss requirements in detail with clients and set project schedules.
• Understand clients' needs and the needs of the people using the building, develop design concepts in consultation with the client and establish final briefs.
• Consider materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiate project fees.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the materials.
• Produce 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients.
• Sourcing products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing, and providing samples for clients. • Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Supervise work at the design stage and on site
• Review ID package submitted from the Design firm.
• Identify design GAPS and propose solutions.
• Review key plans (Block, Furniture, RCP, MEP coordination).
• Review Tile layout. Improve termination details.
• Review Kitchen layout and Elevation. Work with the specialist to develop working drawings details (wardrobes / kitchens).
• Review Door schedule and Manufacturing details.
• Review vanities /mirrors/showers detailing.
• Review lighting detailing (Accent light / Architecture light / Pendant lights).
• Review Material Boards / Availability / Sustainability / Affordability.
• Review Furniture Schedule / Manufacturing drawings.
• Review of soft finishes.
• Working closely with site team to ensure that the design intent is achieved.
• Ensure that the site is having all the necessary Design details to move consistently and effectively.
For Bahrain Bay Project:
Review of block work - space planning and insure it integrates well with RCP and joinery works
Review of RCP in coordination with MEP , AC , lighting
Review of Tile fixing details
Review of Doors, wardrobes and kitchens

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Architecture
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 10 year experience of relevant experience
COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:
(Be specific as to the amount and type of software and/or hardware knowledge required and the proficiency level of skills required, i.e., basic, intermediate, or advanced)
• Proficient in Auto CAD
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point). SPECIAL SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES:
