We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry in Dubai. The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing payments and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies in vendor invoices and resolve billing issues
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Maintain accurate and complete accounts payable records
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all outstanding balances are resolved
- Assist in month-end closing and provide support for audits

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
