- Develop and maintain RPG, CL, and SQL code to meet business requirements and system specifications, ensuring code quality and efficiency.
- Analyze existing AS400 applications, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance and functionality.
- Design and develop new AS400 applications, including database design, user interface design, and application logic.
- Troubleshoot and debug AS400 applications, identifying and resolving issues to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure that AS400 applications meet specified requirements and are free of errors.
