- Assisting the Quantity Surveyor in preparing cost estimates and budgets for fit-out and joinery projects.
- Reviewing and analyzing project plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify potential cost savings and risks.
- Preparing and issuing tender documents to subcontractors and suppliers, and evaluating their proposals.
- Assisting with the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts for payment.
- Monitoring and reporting on project costs, including variations and potential cost overruns.
- Assisting with the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date cost reports, including cost forecasting and cash flow projections.
- Assisting with the preparation of claims and disputes, including providing supporting documentation and analysis.
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in fit-out and joinery projects.
