Ability to perform safely and correctly the following on Medium Voltage (MV) equipment and systems:

*Electrical Isolations and LOTO

*Planned preventative maintenance (PM) routines

*Corrective maintenance (CM)

*Breakdown maintenance (BD)to include:

- Ring Main Units

- Transformers

- MV switch gears

- VCB, SF6 Breakers, Protection relays

- Main Distribution Panels , Sub-Main Distribution Boards & DB’s

- LV Breakers and Protection systems

- Lighting Control Panels and circuits

Candidate should be able to perform maintenance of major assets below:

• Ring Main Units

• MV Transformers

• MV Switchgears

• MV Cable Networks

It would be important to have the below experiences:

• Ring Main Unit Functional tests, Replacement of Fuses, inspection, and maintenance of internal components.

• Earth Testing Programs

• Thermal image surveys

Can correctly setup and use electrical test equipment and interpret the test results to include

• Digital Multi meter

• Insulation Resistance Tester

• Earth Fault Loop Resistance Tester

• BDV test
