Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for MEP systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines.
Ensure clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and other coordination tools.
Work closely with Project/ Construction/ BIM/ MEP managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth BIM integration.
Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for MEP systems.
Generate shop drawings, as-built models, and detailed MEP documentation.
Conduct BIM model audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews.
Stay updated on BIM advancements, industry best practices, and new technologies.
Create digital simulations of onsite workflows and construction sequences.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) throughout all project phases.
Transfer information and model data to updated software versions when required.
Ensure all BIM model parameters and deliverables are in full compliance with the BEP.
Support coordination meetings and assist in resolving interdisciplinary clashes.
