• As a Chief Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and accounting functions of a reputable organization in a good sector.
• You will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations and providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes.
• This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ensure that an acceptable standard of Quality Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practice and the company’s Quality Manual and Policy.

Requirements

Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience of over 8 years in progressively responsible accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for financial analysis and modelling.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit processes.
• Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
