Review and interpretation of construction contracts.
o Maintain client relationships and participate in contracts and subcontracts negotiations.
o Perform analysis on engineering aspects, project status, financial health, and administration management; interpret the information and reports, recommend, and carry out approved changes in operation.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to prepare project budgets, resources, timelines, policies, and schedules.
o Establish and implement construction schedules, methods, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
o Ensure project schedule and milestones are achieved.
o Determine project resource requirements, including funding, people, and equipment.
o Determine how to allocate/reallocate project resources throughout the project. o Review and approve team’s Monthly Manpower invoices.
• Develop, modify, and implement operation of systems, policies, and procedures related to construction for smooth operations.
• Ensure strict adherence and execution based on contract terms and conditions.
o The organization and direction of construction and all jobsite activities including subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and client nominated representatives.
o Plan and establish procedures to ensure that all construction and operations meet engineering designs and specifications as well as ensure that corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented.
o Supervise & manage activities and report discrepancies to the Project Manager/Asst. Project Manager.
o Follow up submittal approval of drawings & material with client and consultant.
• Oversee the change order process and communicate changes to the project and relative teams.
o Provides feedback to the sales team in relation to project estimates/price with data of actual quantities, material, supply, services and costs and pinpoints weaknesses in pricing and contract issues.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Related Construction Management training and education is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.
Minimum Experience:
At least fifteen (15) years of experience in construction projects with ten (10) years’ experience as Construction Manager on large (over $500m) EPCM projects.
• Proven experience with relative portfolio of safety statistics on previous projects.
