Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our multidisciplinary medical team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of medical images, delivering high-quality diagnostic services, and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical services in compliance with international and UAE healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and report on imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
- Ensure accurate diagnosis and timely reporting to referring physicians.
- Collaborate with other consultants and specialists for integrated patient care.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior radiology staff, including registrars and technologists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs), especially in oncology, trauma, and other specialties.
- Utilize PACS and RIS systems efficiently for reporting and workflow.
- Engage in quality assurance and continuous medical education (CME) activities.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and clinical best practices.
- May be involved in interventional procedures depending on expertise and department setup.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Radiology (e.g., FRCR, ABR, FFR, or equivalent).
- Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialist qualification experience, preferably including some Gulf or international experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage but not required.
