- Safely drive and operate heavy vehicles, loading and transporting goods between the warehouse and delivery destinations as directed.
- Complete accurate delivery and collection documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs or faults promptly.
- Participate in general warehouse duties where required, including stock movement, palletizing, and assisting colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Represent the company positively to clients, suppliers, and colleagues through professional, courteous behavior and communication.
- Comply at all times with company safety policies, manual handling procedures, and all road transport laws and regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks, reporting and resolving issues to maintain roadworthiness and legal compliance.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow health and safety protocols in the warehouse and while on the road.
- Ensure the correct and secure loading of goods to minimise damage and support safe transit.
- Take proactive measures to prevent accidents, hazards, or delays during loading, unloading, or transit.
