Job Purpose
The electrical Engineer will be responsible for establishing, deploying, controlling, and continuously improving Maintenance Optimization processes
Responsibilities:
· Manage & Evaluate maintenance concept to achieve optimum balance between risks, costs, and performance
· Identify Faults, Review and Propose additional Fault Rules to identify Asset Performance degradation
· Identify spare parts required for Preventive Maintenance and for non-preventable failures of critical assets/systems
· Supervise and Manage standard task list and associated SOPs
· Support Management and specific Product/Process Owners to improve existing Tools & Methods to get complete and accurate data on the Asset Reliability.
· Support Field Operations for preparation of Long-Term Asset Management Plans including O&M & Asset Replacement Estimated Costs. Propose Asset Replacement Methodology and drive specific Analysis
· Support in reviewing and Improving Asset Condition Survey’s Methodology, supervise Asset Condition Surveys.
· Asset performance scheduling and Field Operations to convert Asset Performance expectations / Service Levels into adequate maintenance plans
· Monitor asset performance and analyse losses to propose corrective actions and/or continuous improvement initiatives.
· Identify Assets with Poor Performance and/or High Maintenance Costs (effort to Maintain).
· Identify Failure Modes and Root Causes; and evaluate associated risk to propose preventative Maintenance Plans optimizations
· Support Management and specific Product/Process Owners to improve existing Tools & Methods to get complete and accurate data on the Asset Utilization.
· Estimate, Manage, Monitor & Analyze maintenance costs to identify spending drifts and propose cost savings via more efficient maintenance
· Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to
· Ensure to Conduct toolbox & SOP training, relevant emergency tests are conducted, incident reports are investigated,
· Performs Maintenance management by supervising various tasks and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules. **
· Ensure resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc are ready for all electrical related works are ready prior to execution.
· Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
· Interprets construction drawings and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of projects.
· Plans the execution of all Electrical related works and coordinates the works to electro-mechanical & civil works.
· Evaluate and appoint FM maintenance contractors for all specialized electrical systems such as Power, ELV, HVAC Controls etc. **
· Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis.
· Ensure sites daily reports are submitted, inspection requests and all applicable monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.
· Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets with the timelines.
· Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, project specifications, approved method statement with all applicable quality standards & regulatory authorities.
· Check all Built Drawings and O&M Manuals for all Electrical & ELV services through the Engineers and closeout documents to be submitted to the Main Contractor / Consultant as soon as works are completed.
· Make sure that testing and commissioning are carried out as per approved check lists and all authorised signs the checklist until testing and commissioning are completed & all snags are also complete.
· Responsible for timely submission and approval of project monthly billing, variations, contra charges, supplier/subcontractor invoice certification, etc.
