• We are seeking a highly skilled Estimation Engineer with strong experience in steel fabrication and structural steel projects within the GCC region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender pricing, and technical evaluations for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel, steel fabrication, PEB, and erection works
• Analyze IFC / Tender drawings, specifications, and scope of work
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs (MTOS), and quantity calculations
• Evaluate material costs (steel sections, plates, bolts, paint systems, consumables)
• Calculate fabrication, blasting, painting, galvanizing, transportation, and erection costs
• Estimate man-hours for fabrication and site erection activities

Tendering & Bidding

• Review tender documents and identify commercial and technical risks
• Prepare competitive tender pricing aligned with GCC market rates
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams for accurate inputs
• Assist in pre-bid clarifications, RFIs, and value engineering proposals
• Support management during negotiation and finalization of contracts

Technical & Commercial Coordination

• Liaise with design, planning, QA/QC, and project teams
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations for compliance and cost efficiency
• Prepare cost comparison statements and vendor evaluations
• Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records
• Assist in variation pricing, change orders, and claims when required
