Job Position: General Accountant
A leading law firm in UAE is seeking a highly motivated and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing and dedicated team.
As a General Accountant, you will provide strategic financial insights, ensure compliance, and lead key accounting processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct audits of accounting processes and all accounting transactions.
- Handle bookkeeping and record daily transactions.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws of UAE.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Leading and coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards.
- Monitor the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management.
- Propose initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes through automation and innovative solutions.
- Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices, applying updates to internal processes and documentation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying and resolving financial discrepancies with the ability to present complex financial data.
Qualifications:
- Female Only
- Any nationality, preferably from GCC and other Arab countries, and South East Asia.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Licensed
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
