Heavy Duty Drivers are responsible to carry loads from shipper’s facility to the consignee’s facility. It is their responsibility to drive safely and deliver the cargo to the consignee on time and in safe condition.

• Collection and delivery of goods from/to its respective destinations as per the committed time schedule
  Maintains telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions
• Keeps record of materials and products loaded on truck before transporting it to its destination
• Assists in loading and unloading
• Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
  Ensure the cargo/packages loaded on truck are properly stacked and kept avoiding any damages or loss.
• Ensure to record all the relevant information with related to the cargo loaded on truck - no. packages, package type, weight, volume, payment mode etc. on KRT consignment note
• Obtains customer signature on KRT consignment note as token of proof and collects payment for goods delivered, if instructed on KRT consignment Note
• Carry out necessary checks on vehicle and issues if any identified should immediately report to the Terminal Assistant / Supervisor
• Maintains truck logbook as per the company policy.
  Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle.
• Ensure the compliances of all safety measures with related to cargo handling and traffic regulations of the country.
