The Laundry Attendant is accountable for executing a high level of cleanliness and maintenance of all the clothing & linen items etc given for laundry within the facility. The role holder is responsible for delivering perfect spotless and well-maintained laundry including uniforms, linens, etc. The incumbent is responsible for operating all the equipment such as washing machines, dryers, etc. in the laundry room.

Job Responsibilities

· Execute the incoming work requests of laundry.

· Execute washing and dry cleaning of clothes, employee uniforms, and linen.

· Conduct cleaning of the laundry equipment, ensuring that equipment is lint-free, etc.

· Execute the required treatment on the stained clothes to ensure that the clothes are stain-free before the delivery.

· Deliver the laundry as per the defined timelines with no delays or complaints.

· Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes by hand or using a folding machine.

· Actively involved in preparing relevant daily and monthly reports, including reports during equipment failure reports and incident/accident reports. Identify the reasons for failures.

· Implement the changes to modify and improve the process to ensure operational efficiency.
