· Carry out routine maintenance and repair work and respond to equipment faults

· Diagnose and fix breakdown problems

. Must be competent to fix machines like Shearing and bending, plasma, laserr, cutting, lathe etc

· Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly

. Prepare jigs and fixtures

· Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
