1. Assembling motor control center (MCC) panels according to engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs).
2. Mounting electrical components, such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, transformers, and terminal blocks, onto panel backplates or enclosures.
3. Wiring control panels based on wiring diagrams and layout plans, ensuring proper routing, termination, and labeling of wires and cables.
4. Performing electrical continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and functional tests to verify panel integrity and performance.
5. Troubleshooting electrical and wiring issues during assembly and testing phases, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
6. Collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers to resolve technical queries and ensure compliance with project requirements.
7. Following safety procedures and best practices to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or hazards.
8. Maintaining inventory of electrical components, tools, and equipment, and coordinating with procurement to replenish supplies as necessary.
9. Providing support for on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities, as required.
10. Documenting assembly and testing processes, recording test results, and preparing quality documentation for final inspection and customer acceptance.
