Role: Mechanical Controller

Reporting to: Mechanical Site Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Quality control on mechanical work/progress.

2. Perform daily inspection based on project specification and international
standard.

3. Heavy Structure Building single and multi-storied.

4. Check all items of MEP and HVAC work involved in buildings.

5. Assist in dimensional measurement.

6. Develop, report and maintain communication with all sub-contractors.

7. Verification of physical measurement of quantities for indirect labour and
contractors’ interim bills.

8. Report any delay to the Engineer if appearing on the schedule.

9. Monitors the project to keep on schedule.

10. Overseeing the delivery of materials.

11. Ensure regular and timely response to contractor RFI’s to witness and verify
technical inspection and materials testing as required.

12. Regularly attend Quality meeting and contribute to resolution of quality issues
that occurred.

13. Closely cooperate with PMT, HSE, Contactor and other department in project
implementation required.

14. Carry out inspection & certify all necessary inspections during various stages of
site activities as per approved inspection and test plan.

15. Initiate NCR, SDR for any violation in implementation for non-conformance and
discrepancy.

16. Actively participate in the generation of punch list.

17. Supervision of finishing works.
