Our Client, one of the largest Petrochemical Company in Kuwait is currently recruiting for Mechanical Design Engineer (Piping) based in Kuwait. Candidate available in Kuwait to attend the face-to-face interview, transferable visa and can join immediately / on short notice will be given preference.

Duration of the Contract: Long Term (Secondment Contract)

Role Description:

• Prepare and perform site survey including photos and measurements to ensure that designs are good for implementation.
• Propose concepts applicable to the requested modification and define the most appropriate one.
• Coordination with engineers in charge or of other discipline
• Prepares detailed design in accordance with standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Ensure that produced drawings designs are safe, easy to built and install and in accordance with company and industries specifications.
• Elaborate MTO based on produced drawings
• Checks that materials used on design meet Company Specifications.
• Modification of existing drawings or establishment of new one
• Manage updating and maintenance of technical documents electronic data base.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years working experience as Mechanical / Piping Design Engineer in oil & gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Experience in static design will be an advantage.
• Candidates available in Kuwait will be given preference.
