Design and analyze mechanical systems for construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related components, ensuring compliance with project specifications, operational requirements, and industry standards.
Prepare, review, and optimize engineering calculations, simulations, and CAD-based models to evaluate system performance, improve efficiency, and ensure effective mechanical design solutions.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, consultants, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall construction framework.
Prepare and submit mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, technical documents, and method statements for consultant review and approval.
Manage consultant comments, design revisions, and approval cycles to secure timely consultant approvals and maintain project progress.
Coordinate with relevant authorities (such as Civil Defense, Municipality, utility providers, and other regulatory bodies) to obtain required approvals, permits, inspections, and compliance certifications for mechanical systems.
Ensure all mechanical works comply with local authority regulations, international standards, and project-specific requirements throughout design, execution, and handover phases.
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and final inspections of mechanical systems to verify performance, safety, quality, and operational reliability.
Monitor site progress, execution quality, and construction schedules to ensure mechanical works are delivered on time, within budget, and according to approved plans.
Identify technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions based on site conditions, consultant requirements, authority feedback, and project objectives.
