Reporting to the Total Rewards Manager/CPO, the Payroll Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization's payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery. This role involves collaborating with HR, Finance, and other departments to maintain compliance with local laws and regulations, handle employee inquiries, and improve payroll systems. The Senior Payroll Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Total Rewards Manager by ensuring that all compensation is processed correctly and efficiently.

PAYROLL MANAGEMENT

• Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Review and verify payroll data, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
• Prepare and process payroll adjustments, retroactive payments, and final settlements as needed
• Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate general ledger postings.
• Conduct regular payroll audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Work with internal and external auditors during payroll audits
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to maintain and improve payroll systems.
• Test and implement payroll system upgrades and enhancements and troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues in a timely manner

COMPLIANCE & REPORTING

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal stakeholders and government agencies
• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to payroll systems and processes

EMPLOYEE SUPPORT

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll-related inquiries and issues
• Provide guidance and assistance to employees regarding payroll policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for HR and other staff on payroll processes and systems

COLLABORATION & COORDINATION

• Collaborate with the Total Rewards Manager to align payroll processes with the overall rewards strategy
• Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to payroll
• Assist in the preparation of payroll-related budgets and forecasts
