The process operator is responsible for the ASU operation of the plant working on a rotating shift schedule to ensure maximum production quantity and quality
Key Responsiblities
Responsible to operate the machineries (pumps, manual valve, etc.) from field in order monitor and control plant operation
Supervise tanker filling, pre-fill/post-fill of tankers using checklists
Check the tanker’s purity before and after every refill of the tanker and issue purity certificate
Responsible for tanker conversion as per Distribution requirement and ensure purity quality is achieved
Inspect tanker and identify maintenance issues if any and inform maintenance supervisors and provide assistance to the maintenance technicians when required
Record plant and machinery readings in log sheet
Must report any issues/deviations in the plant, tankers, or tube trailers to shift leader
Coordinate with shift leader for start-up and shutdown
Analyse the water treatment reports and water samples
Responsible for plant data analysis and reporting (PPU, FO1, etc.) as required
Coordinate external contractors performing work in the plant
Ensure proper handover of shift duties/activities to the next shift on duty
Attend monthly safety meeting
Responsible for inspection of safety equipment in the plant as required
Protect environment, operate on a clean basis, and achieve sustainable development
Comply with company policies and procedures at all times
