We are looking for a qualified and experienced QC Inspector - Painting with over 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and coating works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify surface preparation and painting/coating processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE, ISO).

• Conduct visual inspections of painted surfaces to check for defects such as cracks, pinholes, or uneven coating.

• Monitor the application of paint and coatings, ensuring the correct materials and methods are used.

• Verify that surface preparation, coating thickness, and curing times meet project requirements.

• Perform adhesion tests, holiday testing, and other relevant inspections to confirm the integrity of coatings.

• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

• Liaise with project engineers, contractors, and third-party inspectors to address quality concerns and resolve issues.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site and enforce quality standards across all painting activities.

• Assist in selecting and reviewing materials and ensure that they meet the required specifications.
