Inspection & Verification

• Perform visual inspection of welding activities, joint fit-up, welding parameters, consumables, and final weld quality.
• Verify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welder qualifications.
• Ensure welding processes comply with relevant codes including:
  ANSI/ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8
  ASME Section V & IX
  API 620, API 650
  AWS D1.1

Quality Control & Documentation

• Review and approve NDT reports/results, ensuring full compliance with project and code requirements.
• Audit NDT programs and ensure proper calibration, procedures, and technician qualifications.
• Maintain and verify welding logs, traceability records, materials documentation, and inspection reports.
• Initiate and follow up on NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions related to welding activities.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate quality inspection activities between Contractor, Subcontractors, and Client representatives.
• Attend quality meetings, technical sessions, and site coordination meetings as required.
• Provide guidance and support to the welding crew and supervisors on quality-related matters.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all welding inspection activities comply with safety requirements and COMPANY HSE policies.
• Identify and report unsafe practices related to welding and fabrication works.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and applicable inspection techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and welding symbols.
• Proficient in reviewing NDT reports and interpreting radiographic films.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
