MISSION

Designate to be responsible on behalf of Consulting Engineer as Resident Engineer for Substation and Overhead line projects and control project activities for the Companies projects in ME. Work Closely with Stakeholders (Management, Client Engineers and Managers, Contractors and personnel related to the project. Implement and respect strictly Tractebel’s Ethics and compliance policies / guidelines.

REPORTING LINES

This role reports operationally to the Product Manager T&D

YOUR JOB FUNCTIONS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)

- Co-ordinate with the Client for delivery of the project

- Carry out detailed site surveys

- Prepare Conceptual design reports and cost estimates

- Prepare Scope of Works and BOQ and Works Tender Documents

- Undertake Technical and Commercial Evaluation of Bids received

- Prepare Works Contract document

- Conduct the project by conducting Kick off meetings, Monthly project meeting, Weekly site review meetings to ensure project

complies with the specifications.

- Ensure project Completes within the specified period.

- Prepare project Cash Flows and best estimates for establishing projects GOM.

- Direct the site supervision staff

- Co-ordinate with the design team for timely review of Technical documentation.

- Ensure HSE requirements are complied in all project stages.

- Prepare and Issue Snag lists, Provisional Acceptance Certificate, Final Acceptance certificates and closeout reports.
