• Ensure that all Tools, Lifting Tackles and equipment used at site are inspected and have valid Calibration/Test Certificates.
The Validity of Calibration should be for a period of not less than 6 months from Mobilization date (as per the ‘Ready to Use' Certificate)
• Ensure that the above Calibration/Test Certificates are available at Site for inspection by Competent Authorities at any point of time.
• Ensure that, during any Crane Marching or heavy mobile equipment movement, the same is accompanied by a rigger in the front and a rigger at the rear of the equipment to avoid any accidents.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator for any new rigging requirements and/or additional Certification/Calibration Requirements as needed by Qatar Energy from time to time
• Ensure Safe Rigging practices in tune with National/International best practices in Rigging
