Job Summary
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing technical support to customers. This role bridges the gap between technical knowledge and commercial acumen, ensuring that customer needs are met with the right solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, engineering) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the piping, steel, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications (ASTM, ASME, API), and applications in oil & gas or construction industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex products.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
