Position: Sales Manager -Domestic UAE Sales - Automotive Batteries

Reports To : HOD

Team / Department : Automotive Battery Div

Location : Jebel Ali Free Zone

Purpose of the Role : Sales Development -

1. Importer Development for After Market Automotive Spare Parts
2. Target Markets GCC, Middle East & Africa

Working Environment :

1. Part of Automotive Division Sales Team
2. Report Directly To Head of Sales
3. Frequent travel to meet clients and partners in the East and West African regions.
4. Flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs and business requirements.
5. Report Weekly Sales Development

Working Relationships:

1. Team Player
2. Must be ready to fill in and support Team if someone else is in need

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Achieve Sales Monthly Sales Target
2. New Importer Development
3. Monitor and Report Own Sales Vs Target
4. Brand Promotion & Support
5. In Country Importers Dealer Promotions Development and Monitoring
6. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences specific to Japanese spare parts.
7. Provide recommendations for pricing, promotions, and new product introductions.
8. Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure availability and timely delivery of parts.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1. Ability to travel extensively across assigned territories in East and West Africa for min 2 – 3 Weeks at a time.
2. Should be able Give consistent and Quality service to Importer Network
3. Must be able to Sustain Long term and Healthy business Relations with Importers
4. Recommend Financially Stable Customers only for Business
5. Must be able to provide Competitor / Market Information to improve Sales
6. Should be able to suggest Sales Promotion Schemes
7. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals in East and West Africa.
8. Identify and target potential distributors, workshops, and retailers to expand the customer
9. Weekly Reporting to HOD / Management

Key Competencies :

1. Knowledge of Japanese automotive spare parts and their market demand.
2. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
3. Analytical thinking with attention to detail and strategic vision.
4. Must have Worked With Automotive Spare Part in the After Market in Africa
5. Detailed Knowledge of Japanese OE Manufacturers Brands
6. Minimum of 3 years of experience in aftermarket automotive spare parts sales, preferably Japanese brands (e.g., Toyota, Nissan, Honda).
7. Must have Information of Sales of Shock Absorbers, Suspension Parts, Brake Pads and Discs
