- Prepare and review cost estimates and budgets for MEP projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for MEP works.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids and contracts.
- Monitor and control project costs, including tracking and reporting on cost variances.
- Review and analyze MEP drawings and specifications for potential cost savings or value engineering opportunities.
- Provide input and support to the project team on cost-related matters.
- Prepare and submit progress payment applications and variations for client approval.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in tender evaluations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors on MEP cost-related matters.
