We are seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Engineer to lead and manage procurement activities across various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and timelines.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring favorable agreements that align with company policies and project needs.
• Cost Control: Monitor procurement budgets, conduct cost analyses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project goals.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Attested is a MUST)
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in procurement within the construction industry, with exposure to various project types.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and tools; strong understanding of construction materials and services.
• Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, PMP).
• Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
