Job Summary
Highly skilled System Acceptance/Commissioning Engineer – Electrical to oversee the commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an international equivalent, and a recognized certification in building/electrical systems commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the system acceptance and commissioning process for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
· Perform functional performance testing, system verification, and troubleshooting for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
· Review and approve design documentation, installation procedures, and technical specifications.
· Develop and execute commissioning plans, test scripts, and performance evaluation protocols.
· Analyze test results and generate detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
· Identify and resolve system deficiencies, ensuring all issues are properly documented and corrected.
· Collaborate with contractors, project managers, engineers, and facility owners to coordinate commissioning activities.
· Ensure adherence to electrical codes and industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NEC.
· Provide training and guidance to facility owners and operators on system functionality and maintenance.
