Job Summary

Seeking an experienced System Acceptance/Commissioning Engineer specializing in Mechanical HVAC and Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Systems (TABS). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experiencein the field, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an international equivalent, and a recognized certification in building/mechanical systems commissioning. This role involves ensuring the proper installation, testing, and performance validation of HVAC and mechanical systems in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee and execute the commissioning process for HVAC and TABS to ensure optimal system performance.

· Conduct functional performance testing, system verification, and troubleshooting for mechanical and HVAC systems.

· Review and validate design specifications, equipment submittals, and installation procedures.

· Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure commissioning activities align with project goals.

· Develop and execute test scripts, checklists, and commissioning plans.

· Analyze system data and prepare detailed commissioning reports and recommendations.

· Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NEBB, AABC, or equivalent).

· Identify and document deficiencies, work with teams to resolve issues, and verify corrective actions.

· Provide training and technical guidance to facility owners and operators on system operation and maintenance.

· Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
