Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our consultancy firm, specializing in managing tax-related work for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Saudi tax laws, including VAT, Zakat, Withholding Taxes, and other related taxes, with a focus on providing top-quality tax compliance and advisory services. This role will require managing multiple clients, ensuring they remain compliant with local tax regulations while optimizing their tax efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Tax Compliance and Reporting:
- Manage tax compliance for multiple clients, ensuring the accurate and timely filing of VAT, Zakat, Withholding Tax, and other relevant tax returns.
- Review client tax filings for accuracy and compliance with Saudi regulations.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of all required tax documents on behalf of clients.
Tax Advisory and Client Consultation:
- Provide expert tax advice and consultancy services to clients, offering guidance on tax-related matters and regulatory changes.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax efficiency while remaining compliant.
- Stay updated on local tax laws and ensure clients are aware of relevant changes and their impact on their business.
Tax Audits and Client Representation:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Assist clients in responding to audit queries, ensuring proper documentation and defense of tax positions.
- Work closely with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring ongoing communication and support for their tax-related needs.
- Understand the specific business and tax challenges of each client to provide tailored advice and solutions.
- Regularly meet with clients to review their tax standing and offer proactive tax planning recommendations.
Tax Risk Management for Clients:
- Identify potential tax risks for clients and provide recommendations on how to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws and prevent penalties.
Internal Coordination and Reporting:
- Work closely with the firm's internal teams, such as finance, legal, and audit, to deliver comprehensive tax services to cli ents.
- Report progress on client tax matters to senior management and ensure all deadlines are met.
