The ELV Engineering Managerapplies Engineering management practices and processes to various projects;functions may include meeting with a diverse array of project stakeholders,including engineering, project engineers, project managers, and technical managers,to brief project planning, engineering budgeting, and resource managementefforts, and the status of project execution and deliverables to facilitate theidentification of existing and/or new work needed to accomplish the projectgoals and objectives; facilitates and communicates project goals andobjectives, including design, engineering, deliverables schedule, resourcemanagement, technical performance, quality, and deliverables and must be anexcellent communicator; documents will be produced at each stage of the projectand the EM is responsible to ensure that they conform to regulatory, statutory,sponsor and stakeholder requirements.Be part of a team assessingand driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell BAHBS.You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implementproduct strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technologyroadmaps, and drive improvements in Engineering quality and productivity.Key Responsibilities:• Interact regularly with project sponsors and stakeholders, project, and Engineering teams for work packages.• Develop appropriate Engineering programproject management strategies for implementing requirements across a broad range of tasks, activates and initiative.• Conduct Engineering management activities such as communicating with principal investigators, resource planning, technical engineers, etc. to track project engineering and schedule milestones, maintain quality assurance processes, and keep the focus on delivering project engineering commitments.• Research and recommend Engineering management policies, principles, and best practices.• Institute effective project engineering specific processes and procedures.• Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues within and between project and engineering teams and recommend/provide solutions.• Prepare reports and other associated engineering project and/or program documentation.• Provide schedule deadlines and budget constraints for design, assembly, and procedural inputs for new and/or standard facility and test equipment in collaboration with work unit engineering faculty and staff and Operations staff.• Identify, assess, and plan efforts to address system faults and affect accepted adjustments and repair in collaboration with work unit engineering faculty and staff and Operations staff• Coordinate among the engineering vertical leaders and teams, close any gaps and improve the quality of deliverables.• Define an engineering process based a best practice.• Interface with Customer and vendors in project critical activities and provide solution and consultancy to complete the project milestone.• Recommend and set a plan and schedule engineering operational training to prepare for and execute project tasks.• Set a development plan for the team and improve the engineering productivity.• Understand technology and Estimation development and analysis.• May perform duties of an Engineering Technical Support Specialist and/or Engineering Systems Support Specialist.• Support the configuration management, information management, test data support, documentation management, integrated logistics support, or quality assurance activities for the work unit• Participate in the strategic planning process and provide input into strategic decisions for unit(s) or user group(s)• Evaluate and initiate the change processes necessary to enhance engineering programs for project or vertical and gain approval from the EML.• Serve as consultant for new technological advances particularly those using integrated technologies and services.• Monitor, control and manage multiple projects and serve major programs simultaneously.• Lead, Hiring and supervising staff.• Manage projects UAT and handing over.Key Skills and Qualifications:• Engineering / Management degree (Desired)• PMI Certification (Desired)• ITIL Certification• Certified in one or some of CCNA, CCNP, CCIE routing and switching or Datacenter.• Certified in one or some of MCSA, MCSE infra and Redhat.• Certified in in one or some of VMS, ACS, FAS and BMSsystems.• 10 to15 years experience in a technical management.• Thorough knowledge of technical Project operations, delivery and execution.• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.• Ability to manage mega projects.• Advanced Soft & Communications skills.We Value:• Background experience- Solid technical and engineering background in technology and IT projects.• Market Awareness -
