Conduct environmental assessments to identify the environmental impact of various activities and operations.Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans that align with the organization's or community's goals.Ensure that sustainability initiatives comply with local, national, and international environmental laws and regulations.Promote energy efficiency, resource conservation, waste reduction, and sustainable sourcing within an organization or community.Advise on the adoption of renewable energy sources and eco-friendly technologies to reduce the carbon footprint.Develop waste reduction and recycling programs to minimize waste and promote responsible disposal.Advise on sustainable building and infrastructure design, green certifications, and sustainable construction practices.Promote sustainable transportation solutions, such as public transit, biking infrastructure, and electric vehicles.Advocate for corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and ethical business practices.Engage with stakeholders and the local community to gather input and build support for sustainability projects.Prepare sustainability reports that track progress, performance metrics, and achievements toward sustainability goals.Provide training and educational resources to employees, community members, and stakeholders to increase awareness and understanding of sustainability principles.Perform other duties as assigned by the client and the line manager.
