PurposeThe Marketing Technology Lead will take ownership of the design, implementation, and governance of the organisation’s marketing technology ecosystem, supporting a mobile-first fintech platform.This role is responsible for ensuring that marketing platforms are:Accurately capturing and processing user dataReliably integrated across systemsSecure, compliant, and governedOperationally stable and scalable The role acts as the technical owner of the MarTech stack, ensuring alignment between marketing, product, and technology, while maintaining strong control over data, integrations, and platform usage. Role AccountabilitiesOwn the architecture, integration, and governance of the MarTech ecosystem (Segment, Mixpanel, Adjust, MoEngage/Clevertap)Define and enforce event tracking standards and governance, ensuring consistency and accuracy across mobile applicationsOversee data flows and integrations between marketing platforms, mobile applications, and internal systemsEnsure data quality, consistency, and traceability across all marketing toolsDefine onboarding processes and usage policies for marketing SaaS platforms, preventing tool sprawl and duplicationEnsure all MarTech platforms comply with:Ø Internal security standardsØ Data protection requirementsØ Regulatory expectationsEstablish and maintain access controls, data handling policies, and auditability of marketing data flowsMonitor and improve operational reliability of marketing data pipelines and integrationAct as a point of escalation for MarTech-related incidents and data issuesDevelop and track KPIs to measure data quality, platform reliability, and marketing enablementProvide regular updates to leadership on:Ø Platform performanceØ Data integrityØ • Risks and improvement opportunitiesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)KPIDescriptionEvent Tracking Accuracy% of critical user events correctly captured and consistent across Segment, Mixpanel, and engagement toolsPlatform ReliabilityStability of data pipelines and integrationsAudit ReadinessAbility to demonstrate controlled, traceable data flows and compliance with policiesSaaS Governance Compliance% of marketing tools aligned with onboarding, access, and governance standardsCampaign Automation Coverage% of campaigns executed via automated journeys (MoEngage/Clevertap) vs manual executionExperience & QualificationsExperience 5+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, Product Analytics, or Growth EngineeringHands-on experience with at least 2–3 of the following platforms:Ø Segment (or similar CDP/event pipeline)Ø Mixpanel (or Amplitude)Ø Adjust (or AppsFlyer)Ø MoEngage / Clevertap / BrazeExperience working with mobile applications (iOS/Android) and event tracking frameworksStrong understanding of:Ø Event tracking design and governanceØ Data pipelines and integrationsØ Attribution models and marketing analyticsExperience managing SaaS platforms and vendor ecosystemsExperience working in cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering)Minimum Entry Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related disciplineStrong understanding of:APIs and system integrationsData consistency and reconciliationPlatform governance and operational processesExperience in regulated or security-conscious environments (preferred)Familiarity with data protection and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR or similar)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
