Provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist in patient assessments, care planning, and implementing nursing interventions. Perform wound care, dressings, and other clinical procedures in line with medical protocols. Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-operative care.
Clinical Duties: Assist with diagnostic tests and prepare patients for procedures. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting care provided, observations, and treatments. Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns to senior medical staff as necessary. Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery or other major medical interventions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Participate in ward rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans. Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the department.
Patient Safety and Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being. Ensure the proper handling and disposal of medical waste and contaminated materials. Report any safety concerns, incidents, or near-misses to the management team.
