Job Title: BIM Architecture CoordinatorDepartment: BIM Department/Technical DepartmentLocation: Project SiteReports to: BIM Manager / Technical Manager  Job Purpose:The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring that digital models are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project requirements. This role supports design, construction, and project management teams in integrating BIM workflows to improve efficiency, collaboration, and quality across all project phases. Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the development and management of BIM models across different disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP) throughout all project stages.Ensure models meet project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and company standards.Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and contractors to integrate models and resolve coordination issues through clash detection and review sessions.Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with naming conventions, LOD (Level of Detail), and modeling guidelines.Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and visualizations (4D, 5D) as needed from BIM models.Participate in coordination meetings and provide BIM-related technical support to site and office teams.Maintain and update BIM documentation, including BEPs, workflows, and model logs.Support construction teams with shop drawings, quantity take-offs, and digital model interpretations.Coordinate with software providers or IT departments to maintain software and plugins (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360).Train junior staff or site teams on BIM software and workflows when required. Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM coordination in the construction industry.Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and other relevant BIM tools.Strong knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and project delivery processes.Experience working on large-scale construction projects, preferably high-rise or infrastructure.
