We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Integration & Validation (I&V) Engineer to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless integration, stability, and quality of our live systems post-deployment. Operating in a parallel alignment model to the core Engineering V&V team, the successful candidate will focus on agile, on-demand live site validation, multi-subsystem integration, and issue resolution to maintain a high-quality user experience.Key Responsibilities•System Integration & Commissioning: Verify that diverse hardware and software components (Radar, AIS, Cameras) are communicating correctly within the live environment. Ensure data integrity across the end-to-end system architecture.Post-Deployment Validation: Perform comprehensive validation of systems and features immediately following a release rollout and commissioning completion by the Rollout (RO) team.Dry Run & Integration Support: Provide on-site and remote support for Engineering and QA dry runs. Ensure all integration pre-work is completed and initial cross-platform verification is successful.On-Demand Snagging & Interface Resolution: Act as a dedicated resource for on-demand snagging, providing rapid support to resolve interface errors and system bugs prior to a customer’s Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).Agile Problem-Solving: React swiftly to live site issues, working independently of the broader development cycle to provide rapid verification and "hotfix" validation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering V&V team and operational stakeholders while maintaining a distinct scope of work as outlined in the team charter.Technical Documentation: Accurately document, validation activities, findings, and resolutions, providing clear reports to stakeholders.

strategies.People ManagementManage the effective achievement of Engineering objectives through the leadership of the Engineering department by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.Lead the talent development initiatives for Engineering, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the the organization.Budgeting and Financial PlanningMonitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.Technical Engineering ManagementFormulate and champion the successful implementation of a technical engineering roadmap and initiatives, aligned with the organization's overall business goals and objectives, to drive strategic progress, innovation, and excellence in engineering endeavours.Create a clear and actionable plan for all technical aspects of engineering projects and advocate for its execution across the Engineering function to ensure the successful and efficient delivery of engineering projects while meeting objectives, adhering to standards, and satisfying client requirements.Provide technical engineering expertise to project managers and stakeholders, assisting them with the successful development of detailed engineering plans, to ensure alignment with project goals and schedules.Lead the preparation, scheduling, and monitoring of all assigned technical engineering projects to ensure effective project management, timely execution, and successful project outcomes, contributing to the optimization of technical engineering operations.Oversee the progress and completion of the technical engineering designs for projects to maintain their integrity and quality standards during project design.Review technical engineering deliverables to ensure the accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance of the project outputs with relevant standards, specifications, and client requirements.Provide technical guidance and oversight to the engineering team by reviewing designs, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant technical expertise and support throughout the engineering project lifecycle.Coordinate with relevant cross-functional teams (e.g., Project Managers, Engineers, procurement, stakeholders) to ensure technical engineering activities align with project specifications and objectives.Policies, Systems, Processes & ProceduresManage and ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Engineering activity so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.Continuous ImprovementLead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) ManagementManage the effective implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and processes to promote a culture focusing on the achievement of world class standards in QHSE and sustainability within Engineering in line with regulatory requirements.ReportingEnsure that all Engineering reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Nesma & Partners requirements, policies, and quality standards.
