Duties & Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accountsLiaising with management teams to assess the current and future performance of contractsMonthly P&L reviews (including detailed gross profit, wages, contract revenue/cost and overhead analysis) and responsible for the collation, review and challenge of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Performing daily bank reconciliations.Help lead the monthly financial close process.Development of monthly management packs and internal KPI’s and MI.Preparation VAT returns and responsible for and dealing with any tax authority correspondenceProduction of year-end audit pack and resolving any audit queries.Production of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts. Helping with additional budgetary tasks.Ad-hoc tasks/projects.

Job Responsibilities1 Review of monthly management accounts includingdetailed monthly P&L reviews and challenge of balancesheet reconciliations, leading to the identification of risksand opportunities. Responsible for ensuring that applicableaccounting standards are being adhered to.2 Supervision of the month end process and the production ofmonthly management accounts.3 Responsible for the development and issuing of accurateand insightful MI and KPI analysis.4 Responsible for monthly board packs to be issued to Group.5 Responsible for the production of rolling 12 week cashforecasts6 Management of growing local finance team7 Responsible for the review and submission of VAT returnsand managing any subsequent VAT enquiries.8 Review of annual integrated budgets and quarterlyreforecasts, as well as assisting with additional budgetarytasks.9 Reviewing year-end audit packs before they are submittedto external auditors, and subsequently manage theresponses to audit queries.10Ad-hoc tasks/projects.
