We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the fitout and interiors field, particularly within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience in estimating and quantity surveying for fit-out and interior projects.Key Responsibilities:All stages of an estimate including: project selection, estimate organization, take-off, pricing, review and closeout.Communicate project progress/status with Management.Prepare, analyze and maintain accurate quantities and thorough take offs from plans.Manage and co-ordinate construction projects.Estimate the cost of materials, time, labour, and equipment for construction projects, using contract bids, quotations, drawings and specificationsDecide how the tendering procedure will work, recommend tenders and conduct negotiations.Keep track of the project's costs and budgetWork with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractorsEstimating costs for structural, electrical or mechanical construction projectsHave a detailed and comprehensive knowledge of construction and construction methods.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.Use computer spreadsheets and databases as well as estimating, take-off, and scheduling software.
