1. Inspect all types of shipping containers as per the clients specified criteria (Port Inspections, IICL, MCIC, Cargo worthy, Wind and water tight etc)2. Generate estimates for all inbound containers supported by photo evidence.3. Grade the container as per the condition of the interior i.e. suitable to load food, general cargo, scrap condition etc4. Re-inspect containers in preparation to issue a CSC certification or to update the ACEP sticker.5. Carry out regular post repair inspections to ensure container repairs are carried out as per customer’s criteria. Ensure correct repair methods and materials are used.6. Train the trainees using IICL standards as a benchmark to understand inspections, estimation, and repairs7. Monitor the yard traffic flow and ensure entrances and exits are continuously flowing8. Supporting the Supervisors to run the workshop and wash bay operations9. Ensure high quality standards are maintained.10. Perform other duties outlined by your line manager11. Always follow and work to DP World’s policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

To supervise and lead the reporting staff as well as analyze customer complaints and identify root cause of its occurrence, resolve them in an efficient manner to avoid repetition in near future thereby improving and providing customers with the best and most efficient level of customer service. The job holder will also be responsible to improve all the processes between DP World and the customers through optimal use of technology (E-services, CRM, Workflow Management etc...) and ensure all DP World E-Services provided via Dubai Trade are meeting the customer needs and requirements
