Position: HSE Manager Experience Required: 15 years total experience, including 7–10 years in managerial HSE roles Industry: Oil & Gas, Marine, Civil/Construction Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) Work Exposure: Corporate HSE + Site HSE OperationsRole OverviewThe HSE Manager will lead, implement, and manage the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across both corporate and project sites. The role requires strong expertise in oil & gas, marine operations, dredging, jetty works, and high-risk civil construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with ISO standards and industry requirements.Lead site HSE teams and provide guidance, coaching, and leadership for all HSE matters.Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and project-specific HSE requirements for marine and offshore activities.Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Hazard Identification (HAZID), and implement control measures.Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned.Manage HSE audits, inspections, and compliance assessments at both corporate and field locations.Coordinate safety training programs, toolbox talks, emergency response drills, and competency evaluations.Review and approve method statements, lifting plans, marine operations plans, and other technical documents.Ensure HSE controls and monitoring are effectively implemented for barge operations, dredging equipment, offshore logistics, and marine plant.Prepare and submit HSE reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards to senior management and clients.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure continuous improvement across all departments.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership, supervision, and team management skills.Excellent knowledge of international HSE standards (OSHA, IMO, ISO 45001/14001).Technical understanding of marine operations, vessel safety, offshore logistics, and heavy equipment.Strong communication skills in report writing, presentations, and safety briefings.Ability to manage corporate-level HSE initiatives and support site-level operations simultaneously.Proactive, analytical, and capable of making sound HSE decisions under pressure.Preferred CertificationsNEBOSH IGC / Diploma or equivalentIOSH Managing SafelyHSE Lead Auditor (ISO 45001/14001)Offshore survival certifications (BOSIET/HUET) – preferredMarine safety or vessel operation-related training – added advantage

Job Purpose:To ensure the continuous and safe operation of all electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard the offshore vessel. The Offshore ETO is responsible for maintaining critical systems that support vessel operations, safety, navigation, and accommodation in remote and high-risk environments.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all onboard electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, lighting, and control panels.Maintain and monitor electronic systems such as radar, GPS, GMDSS, AIS, and other navigation/communication equipment.Support dynamic positioning (DP) systems and ensure integration between propulsion control, thruster control, and bridge navigation systems.Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems, including PLCs, engine control modules, and alarm monitoring systems.Ensure all safety and emergency systems (fire/gas alarms, bilge alarms, emergency lighting, UPS, emergency generators) are fully operational and compliant.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, galley equipment, and accommodation-related electrical systems.Collaborate with the engine room team for electrical aspects of propulsion, generators, and auxiliary equipment.Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and IMO/SOLAS electrical standards.Maintain detailed logs, maintenance reports, and electrical inventory.Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and contribute to vessel safety culture.Skills & Competencies:Strong technical knowledge of offshore marine electrical and automation systemsExperience with high/low voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting in offshore environmentsFamiliarity with DP systems, propulsion automation, and integrated bridge systemsProficiency in using and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manualsAbility to work in high-pressure offshore conditions with minimal supervisionStrong team collaboration and communication skillsStrict adherence to safety, quality, and operational proceduresQualifications & Certifications:Valid STCW III/6 Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Marine EngineeringDP Awareness or Maintenance Certificate (preferred, depending on vessel class)Valid GMDSS General Operator Certificate (preferred)Minimum 2–3 years of offshore sea experience in ETO roleValid offshore medical (OGUK/MLC) and STCW Basic Safety TrainingBOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS (as per offshore requirement)
