To monitor Welder performance and conduct visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with Company procedures and international codes of practice2. To interview and select Welders and verify qualifications of Welders for project requirements3. To monitor Welder performance and their repair rates in accordance with job quality requirements4. To conduct training of Welders for new techniques and additional processes as per job requirements5. To provide verification of electrodes backing and holding temperature including control and issue6. To check, inspect and test incoming welding materials to ensure they meet job quality specifications7. To undertake workshop verification of welding machine and electrode baking and storage to ensure all equipmentmeets job requirement specifications8. To provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control in accordance with procedures and job requirements9.
