About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Dry Utility Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in designing Electrical cables, ITS, Du, Etisalat, Escada, Road Lightings and Traffic Signals, with at least 1-2 years specifically in Dubai. Experience with road and infrastructure design consultancy firms in Dubai will be considered a significant advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesLead infrastructure engineering efforts by coordinating design elements with clients, consultants, and cross-functional teamsDevelop concept planning, preliminary designs, and detailed designs for HV, MV and LV networks including the preparation of single line diagrams and layouts for infrastructure projectsPrepare technical calculations, drawings, specifications, and associated documentationCreate electrical load demand sheets and voltage drop calculationsPrepare lux calculations (DiaLux software) for street lighting.Understanding of ROW requirements and UCDMDevelop utility corridor cross-sections through coordination with all infrastructure disciplinesLoad estimation for the infrastructure plots, pumpstations, lifting stations, etc.Prepare comprehensive concept, preliminary, and detailed design reportsAssist in tender document preparation, including Bills of Quantities and specificationsPrepare complete packages for construction issueCoordinate and follow up on approval processes with relevant authorities and stakeholdersSupport quality assurance and timely delivery of infrastructure projectsAssist Principal Engineers and provide mentorship to Graduate DesignersSupport bid preparation by providing technical inputs based on RFP requirementsManage project planning, including forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocationProvide technical support to site teams by addressing RFIs and queriesMaintain effective team communication to minimize conflictsOutline cost and quantity estimation for dry services
