The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving company vehicles, delivering and picking up equipment, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment. This dual-role position requires a proactive and flexible individual with strong mechanical knowledge and driving experience.Key Responsibilities:Driving and Delivery:Safely drive company vehicles, including trucks, to transport equipment to and from job sites or clients.Load, secure, and unload equipment, ensuring safety guidelines are followed.Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle mileage.Equipment Maintenance and Repair:Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various types of equipment, including but not limited to generators, compressors, and construction machinery.Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.Identify parts in need of replacement and inform the supervisor for procurement.Keep maintenance logs up-to-date with all repair and service information.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations, ensuring equipment and vehicles are operated safely.Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure they are in good working condition.Report any mechanical issues or damage promptly to the supervisor.General Support:Assist in organizing and managing the inventory of tools, equipment, and parts.Maintain a clean and organized work area in the vehicle and workshop.Assist other team members with tasks as required.
