The core duty is to remove dust, mold, and debris from HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems while ensuring the machinery operates at peak performance.
System Inspection: Conducting initial assessments using remote cameras to identify blockages, mold growth, or structural damage within the ductwork.
Cleaning & Sanitization: Utilizing high-powered vacuums, compressed air tools, and mechanical brushes to clean ducts. Applying antimicrobial coatings to prevent bacterial growth.
Equipment Maintenance: Operating and maintaining specialized tools like HEPA-filtered vacuums, fogging machines, and rotary brushes.
Blower & Coil Cleaning: Cleaning the internal components of the Air Handling Unit (AHU), including evaporator coils, drain pans, and blower motors.
Post-Cleaning Verification: Re-inspecting the system (often with "before and after" photos) to ensure all contaminants have been removed.
Client Education: Explaining the cleaning process to residential or commercial clients and recommending maintenance schedules or filter upgrades.
Safety Compliance: Following strict OSHA or local health guidelines, especially when dealing with mold or working in confined spaces.
