Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC/HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with preference given to those with previous work experience in Dubai or the wider UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various types of air conditioning and HVAC systems (split, ducted, package units, VRV/VRF, etc.).
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
- Handle refrigerant recovery and charging in compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate service reports and job completion records.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Technical Certification in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems; Dubai or UAE experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, installation, and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and UAE safety regulations for HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in varying environmental conditions. A valid UAE driving license is a plus. Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
