We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sushi Head Chef Assistant to join our team and help us elevate our sushi offerings on the go! You will work directly alongside our Head Chef in a fast-paced, fun, and rewarding environment, preparing high-quality, delicious sushi for our loyal customers.
Work closely with the Head Chef in all aspects of sushi preparation, including:Rice preparation (cooking, seasoning, and cooling).
Ingredient preparation (slicing fish, preparing vegetables, and creating sauces).
Sushi rolling (maki, nigiri, sashimi, and hand rolls).
Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.
- Quality Control: Ensure all sushi is made to the highest standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, answering questions about the menu and taking orders when needed.
- Truck Maintenance: Assist with general food truck maintenance and cleaning duties.
- Menu Development: Contribute ideas and suggestions for new sushi rolls and menu items.
- Efficiency & Speed: Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing menu items and customer requests.
