As a Building Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our clients' properties. You will be responsible for identifying and documenting any defects or issues during the construction or handover phase of projects. Your attention to detail and thorough understanding of construction standards will be essential in ensuring that properties meet regulatory requirements and client specifications.
· Conduct thorough inspections of properties during the construction or handover phase.
· Identify and document any defects, deficiencies, or deviations from specifications.
· Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address and rectify identified issues.
· Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including photographs and written reports.
· Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
· Provide feedback and recommendations to improve construction processes and quality control measures.
· Participate in regular meetings with project teams to discuss progress and issues.
· Follow up on corrective actions and verify that deficiencies have been adequately addressed.
· Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or questions regarding property quality.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in construction and facility management.
